LR: Any misconceptions about your club that you’d like to clear up?ĬC: Yes! We DO ride/race mountain bike. LR: What fictional character would fit best into your club and why?ĬC: Best fictional character… (I can hear the voices of all our members yelling many different absurd characters) haha! I’d say E.T., anybody that can ride a bike through the night’s sky like that is ok by us.ĬC: Power animal?!?! Obviously the Dolphin! The last big event on campus was our annual Halloween Scavenger Hunt! Next event on campus is TBA, keep in touch on CISync!! ) We did great! Ranked 2 nd in our conference among Division II schools. LR: What was your club’s last big event? Any coming up?ĬC: Our last big event was our race in San Diego over the weekend of Feb 2 nd-Feb 4 th. LR: Does your club utilize any social media tools?ĬC: Our club uses Facebook, Instagram, CISync and we even have our own Google website. Nobody is going to take the “dolphins” serious in a race if they look over and see giant smiling dolphin. LR: On a scale of angry to Flipper, which CI logo do you prefer?ĬC: Seeing as which our club competes against other schools, I think we prefer the angry logo. LR: How often does your club meet and when?ĬC: Our club meets once a week, Wednesdays at 7:30pm. I was hooked.ĬC: Our club has 37 members according to CISync! I stuck around and chose to really get into it because the members are awesome, and everything the club did was so welcoming and fun. So I substituted it with a more practical road bike, and eventually got a mountain bike as well. ![]() I joined it because I come from a motocross background, but when I came to CI I had to ditch the dirtbike. LR: Why and when did you join/start your club?ĬC: I joined my club right away, first semester freshmen year. LR: Are you part of any other student organizations?ĬC: I can’t say I’m officially involved in any other student organizations, but I do stay informed. And I love every bit of the above.ĬC: I am President of the Bicycle Kitchen! I have a job on campus as a Student Assistant with University Advancement. This week I got to learn a little more about the infamous bike club…ĬC: My name is Christian Cummins and I am a sophomore majoring in Business with a minor in Communications. ![]()
